Sauber

Sauber Motorsport is a Swiss motorsport organisation founded in 1970 by Peter Sauber, currently operating as the Stake F1 Team in Formula One. In the context of this vault, Sauber is relevant as a late chapter in Alfa Romeo’s Formula One history: from 2019 to 2023 the team competed under the name “Alfa Romeo Racing” (later “Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN”) through a commercial naming and branding partnership with Alfa Romeo, distinct from Alfa Romeo’s earlier works F1 programmes documented in the vault.
