Fledge Capital
Fledge Capital is an investment vehicle associated with Louis van der Watt that held 31.5% of WeBuyCars before its April 2024 JSE listing. It has also been an investor in Atterbury Property Fund since November 2016, described on its portfolio page as a “friends and family” arrangement for existing Atterbury shareholders and employees. This dual relationship — WeBuyCars investor and Atterbury fund participant — is what created the decade-long commercial connection between Faan and Dirk van der Walt and van der Watt that underpins the passive-capital trust in the AttBid Proprietary Limited structure.
