SAQA

The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) is a statutory body responsible for developing and implementing the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) in South Africa and for recognising professional bodies in designated sectors. PCIPC is in the process of seeking recognition from SAQA as the formally recognised professional body for the pest control sector. If granted, this recognition would elevate PCIPC’s regulatory standing and potentially create new compliance requirements for individual PCOs to maintain professional body membership — adding another layer to the industry’s compliance architecture.
