Rabbet Construction Payments Report
The Rabbet Construction Payments Report is an annual US survey published by construction-finance software company Rabbet. Its 2024 edition is the origin of two figures cited widely in this vault: an average US construction payment cycle of roughly 90 days, and an estimated US$280 billion drained annually from the US construction industry by payment delays. As a vendor-published survey it has a commercial framing interest, so its precise magnitudes are treated as alleged pending corroboration.
