European Builders Confederation

The European Builders Confederation (EBC) is a Brussels-based trade association representing construction SMEs and craft trades across the European Union. It is a prominent campaigner on late payment, repeatedly highlighting the EU Payment Observatory’s findings and pressing for robust enforcement of the Late Payment Directive and for reinforced EU rules. It represents the small-builder/subcontractor interest in the EU payment-reform debate.
