VRLA Batteries
The Elite VRLA UPS battery family, per the Standby Systems medical page, is “specifically designed and manufactured for high rate applications when high power density is required in a small footprint.” Two design-life tiers are listed on the page: a 3–5 year version and a 6–10 year version. VRLA (valve-regulated lead acid) is the dominant chemistry across the Riello UPS portfolio for short-runtime, high-discharge applications.
