Operation Epic Fury

Operation Epic Fury was the coordinated US-Israeli military operation launched on 28 February 2026, targeting Iranian military facilities, nuclear sites, and leadership. The strikes killed Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Iran’s response — missile barrages on Israeli cities and US Gulf bases, and immediate IRGC closure of the Strait of Hormuz — triggered the 2026 Strait of Hormuz Crisis.
