Prurigo Nodularis

Prurigo nodularis is a chronic, intensely itchy eruption of firm nodules caused by repeated scratching. In Atopic Dermatitis it occurs more often in people with darker skin (Sarkar 2026; DermNet), and in an Italian paediatric series prurigo-type lesions were seen mainly in children with skin of colour (Herzum 2024).
