Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome
Wiskott–Aldrich syndrome is a rare X-linked recessive immunodeficiency. It combines eczema that is ‘indistinguishable from AD’, starting in the first months, with bleeding from low, small platelets, recurrent infections, raised IgE and malignancy risk; bleeding is often the first sign (Siegfried & Hebert 2015; Türe Avcı 2026). Eczema plus bruising or bleeding in a boy is a red flag.
