PrescQIPP

PrescQIPP is an NHS-funded community interest company that publishes prescribing bulletins for NHS commissioners and GPs. Its emollient bulletin (B76, 2015) lists “cost-effective” leave-on emollients costing under £1.15 per 100 g. Its dermatology bulletin (307, 2022) compares topical steroid prices per gram, for example hydrocortisone 2.5% at 18–58 times the cost of other mild steroids. Its guidance shapes which emollients and steroid creams toddlers are prescribed in England.
