Antimicrobials — source conflicts
Conflict: [Ogonowska et al., Front Microbiol, 2021-01] reports a higher MRSA proportion in AD isolates (4–13×), especially children. [Matiz et al., Pediatr Dermatol, 2011; title only, cited in Antonov AAC 2015] reports children with AD “appear less likely to be infected with community acquired MRSA” (San Diego). Conflict: [NICE NG153, 2020-02] gives hydrogen peroxide 1% cream for 5 days. [Crystacide SmPC, rev. 2025-01] permits up to 3 weeks; [NHS England Pharmacy First protocol v1.1, 2025] notes use at age 1 is off-label though NICE-supported. Unresolved — add to open_questions.
