TCS practicalities — open questions

• Which paediatric FTU table is right for a 1–4-year-old: Patient.info’s age bands, or DermNet’s fraction-of-adult rule? Has either been checked against measured body surface area?
• Why do UK OTC rules bar hydrocortisone 1% for under-10s while US OTC labels allow it from age 2? Is there paediatric safety data behind either cut-off?
• Are there prospective long-term (more than 1 year) studies of skin thickness and growth in toddlers using mild/moderate TCS intermittently, beyond Hong 2011’s cross-sectional dermoscopy?
