Gauteng Department of Health

The Gauteng Department of Health (GDoH) is the provincial government department responsible for healthcare services in Gauteng, South Africa’s most populous and economically dominant province. In the context of SA pest control, GDoH is one of the largest institutional buyers of pest control services, issuing competitive tenders for pest control at its estate of hospitals, clinics, nurses’ colleges, administration buildings, staff accommodation, workshops and mortuaries. The GDoH uses 3-year framework contracts and evaluates bids under the 90/10 PPPFA points system. Bidders must hold DALRRD structural pest control field registration under Act 36 of 1947.
