Support and Maintenance

Standby Systems provides a 24-hour emergency call-out service and offers both emergency and preventative maintenance contracts on Riello UPS products. Preventative maintenance is a Riello warranty prerequisite — see FAQ - Riello UPS Warranty.

Preventative maintenance visits cover:

  • Downloading and analysis of recorded data / event history (analysis done at Standby Systems offices after the site service)
  • All electrical calibrations and settings to achieve optimum performance for power-quality requirements in modern IT environments
  • Thermal UPS analysis (on request)
  • Cleaning of equipment to keep dust levels low (preventing tracking and machine damage)
  • Mechanical checks
  • Fan checks for unobstructed and correct airflow through the UPS to prevent overheating
  • AC and DC capacitor checks and measurement to ensure correct filtration
