Conflict: [MSKCC, n.d.] says borage seed oil contains small amounts of hepatotoxic unsaturated pyrrolizidine alkaloids (1–2 g/day oil can give ~10 µg UPA vs a 1 µg/day German limit) and recommends certified PA-free products.
