Mock Exams

Map of Content — full-sitting practice papers assembled from the vault’s 110 original questions.

Each paper draws a balanced sample across the three test sections to mimic a real learner’s-licence sitting. Because the official question count is disputed and unpublished (see K53 Learner Licence Exam Format and the open questions log), papers are offered in both circulating formats:

  • 68-question format — 30 Rules + 30 Signs + 8 Controls
  • 64-question format — 28 Rules + 28 Signs + 8 Controls

Pass marks (alleged): Rules 22, Signs 23, Controls 6 — you must pass all three sections.

Visual layout

A visual map of the motorcycle paper is available as a canvas. In Obsidian, open the file Mock Exam Paper — Code A Motorcycle (Canvas).canvas (in this MockExams/ folder) in Canvas view — it lays the 68 questions out in three colour-coded section columns linked from the paper hub.

How scoring works

Score each section on its own. A real sitting fails you overall if you fail any single section, even with a strong total — so treat the three sections as three separate hurdles.

Not the official bank

These papers are built from original questions generated from verified rules, signs and controls. They are practice material — this vault does not reproduce the official restricted K53 question bank.
