South African Road Traffic Signs Manual (SARTSM)

The South African Road Traffic Signs Manual (SARTSM) is the canonical, legally-referenced specification for every road sign, signal and marking in South Africa, harmonised with the SADC Road Traffic Signs Manual. It defines the four functional sign classes (regulatory, warning, guidance, information) with their shapes, colours and regulation codes. Its sign artwork is copyrighted, so this vault describes signs in words only and embeds no images.
